|Hilton Head Library Authors’ Expo will feature six Island Writers’ Network members and their books on Thursday, May 26, from 1-3 pm. Friends of Hilton Head Library is sponsoring the event.
It’s an opportunity for the public to meet local writers and buy their books. There will also be selective readings from authors.
Barry Dickson, a retired Madison Avenue Creative Director with a recently published book of poetry, Maybe Today. Barry lives on Hilton Head Island.
Debby Grahl is an award-winning writer who lives on Hilton Head Island with her husband, David. Mountain Blaze, her latest book, received a five-star review from Readers’ Favorite.
John Macllroy’s newest book is, Whatever Happens, Probably Will, a collection of award-winning stories. John began writing creatively in 2016, following a career that spanned law, business, and teaching. He lives on Hilton Head Island.
Kerry Peresta spent thirty years in advertising as an account manager, creative director, copywriter, and editor. The Rising, the second book in her psychological suspense series, was released in April. Kerry and her husband have lived in Hilton Head Island since 2015.
Tricia Mikouchi recently published The Sunny Side of Crazy, which is about a mother raising a daughter with multiple personalities. Tricia lives on Hilton Head Island.
Richard L. Wright’s latest book, RetroSpec, explores the flawed nature of memory and the dangers of exposing secrets when two snarky, lesbian nerds accidentally invent a device that streams the past on demand. He moved to Hilton Head Island from Atlanta in 2020.
Ripples is the 7th anthology published by the Island Writers’ Network, a colony of writers based in the Hilton Head Island, SC area. It features prose, poetry, essays, and photos by 47 writers and photographers who live mainly in the Hilton Head Island/Bluffton SC area.
